my computer got shut off by accident and now when i start it up it says
"windows could not start because the followinf file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the origional setup CD-Rom.
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."

so i put in my windows cd and changed the first boot device to CD-Rom in the bios "and now it says "press any key to boot from CD-ROM...." then i press a key and it jsut goes to the same message about that file being corrupt. Ive tried 2 different keyboards in every usb port and with the purple adapter but no matter what i do it still goes to that screen. What do i do?

first make sure if your bios has it that usb emulation is turned on. If it is. Keep in mind that it will only show that press any key for hardly a couple of seconds hit it right when it pops up.
