CD Burners

Get a LiteOn, the only brand of cd/dvd drive I trust.

I agree .. it's cheapest/best value and only slightly slower than the much more expensive plextor drives (slightly meaning 5-10 seconds).

I think most of the cheaper CD burners are all the same just a different chassis look. The most reliable would most likely be Richo or Sony all the cheaper ones would only last around a year and a half, a good way to get your burner working better is to open it up get a cotton bud with a little window cleaner on it and genly wipe the laser head. it usually gives it some more life

thats not true at all.. i had my liteon cd burner for around a year- year and a half now. So sony and all those other brands are good there just very overpriced. So i would get a liteon. It also comes with nero. So its good.
