Yeah, it's definitely single core. I remember reading the alienware newsletter of them releasing dual core technology

What is your budget? I suggest a Gigabyte 965P-DS3, e6600, and 2x1gb of DDR2-800 ram.

You probably don't even need to overclock, but if you feel the e6700 was nessecary, take the e6600, invest in 2 hours reading and understanding, and bingo.

Can i suggest waiting for dx10 release, thus saving money and buying something that will be just as sufficient til more cards come out and they all drop in price.

Buy a DX10 card when they come out.
