For christmas, I recieved an Lindows system. And it wasn't compatible with many games.. So I brought my cousin's Win 2000 CD over and reformatted the hard drive and installed the Win 2000. Now some of the games I like to play, won't support Win 2000. So I was wondering if anyone know that if I brought my friends Win 98 CD over and bought a seperate COA for it, will it work? His CD with my COA...

I'm sorry, I missed phrased that... I meant if I used my friends Win 98 CD with my Win 98 COA, will it still work..

So...we're not suppose to use a COA on Win 98 cd's? Because I don't think that is piracy...is it? Because if it is, then why would they make the COA's in the first place?
