key is wrong PLZZZZZ HELP

Hi guys. i'm not sure this is the right place for what i'm asking but i'll try anyway.

i just reformated and installed windows ME for the 1st time and it's all working fine. But when i try and wright an Email address the "key is wrong (eg. sumthingorother12345"hotmail.com.) all the other keys wrok fine. And i tryed another kieboard but its just the same.

It is your setup, when you install ME will ask for the region in which you live.

You need to enter Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options

Change them to the country you are in.



It can also depend on what keyboard you have, US Keyboard or UK Keyboard.

no my Regional and Language Options are set right and it still will not work

I don't understand what kind of key you're talking about. what program are you using for emails? maybe there is something wrong with your email account setup?
