and greenplantseed... ati has used unified pixel shaders before nvidia... they started it with the x1900 series... so what makes you think ati is going to lose.. there's no real benchmarks yet, so don't jump the gun...

X1900 doesn't use a unified shader.

The first GPU that uses a unified shader is Xenos, which is the GPU of Xbox 360.

The first GPU that uses unified shader in computers is Geforce 8800

and the gpu in the xbox 360 is made by ATI

and greenseed, do yourself a favor and never go to the inquirer again because they dont have any credibility at all, thats one of the worst sites to get information from that i have ever seen

i was inches away from ordering my 8800gts today.. but then i remembered about my tax return.... i went and stopped by h and r block today, and i think i can get me that advanced loan thing... so.. i'm going to wait for that and grab the the for sure gtx... oooo i can't wait
