very slow right-click function

When I right-click, it takes up to three or four seconds sometimes for me to get access to the options and functions. Why might this be, and what can I do about it?

Is that the only issue you are having? does it happen on every file?

That is the only issue I'm having, as far as I know. It happens everywhere.

Of course, right now, as I'm checking, the computer knows it's in trouble so it's not doing it. But I've been aware of it happening in every setting.

What menu's show up when you right-click?

If you have additional menu's, they will slow it down.

interesting... there are several menus and I need only a few of them. How do I remove the ones I don't want?
