Updating BIOS through internet...

So before I update the BIOS and install the drivers of the motherboard...should I fully update my windows, with SP2 and all that? Or should I update the BIOS and install the drivers before updating windows. Thanks...

It doesn't matter.

you should update your bios before you install windows. Reason is because hal.dll could stop working if its a major bios update, had it happen to me. It errored on boot with 'hal.dll missing or corupt'. Not saying it will happen to you just that it did to me.

The thing is I don't have a floppy drive. So I have to do it through internet.

you could get a usb flash drive too. I have no idea how to update the bios from the internet, never had a need to, doubt I ever will.

When I updated my BIOS, I downloaded ABit Flash Menu and it found the correct update, then updated it. Took about a minute, at most.
