Need a new monitor.

I want to get a decent 19-21 inch LCD monitor. I want a one that will do good with gaming and I just woundered if anyone had any suggestions?

For gaming, I recommend a full-screen monitor. I'm not sure if games support widescreen, but somebody can back me up on that. What video card are you running? Does it have a DVI input or VGA?

The world is going widescreen...I bet all new games will eventually support widescreen if they dont already...

go viewsonic, samsung, acer...but really the lcd market has leveled a bit...they are all decent...go visually look at some at best buy, and read reviews online...get less than 6ms response time and a high contrast ratio like 1000:1...

I have a 7900GS and it has both of them. I want something that is affordable but shows a great picture. My friend has an acer and he said that it looks pixelated. But IDK.

I have it, I love it. Not a single dead pixel. There is no ghosting as all. 1680x1050, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response, DVI. Widescreen rocks.
