Basically this is a common problem with some poorly written progs that dont terminate and instead interrupt a system kill.

Im sure its a process since safemode reboots and terminates correctly.

There are a lot of processes/services that startup and I dont want to look through all of them.

Is there anyway to log, or dump the final termination sequence so I can see which is the last process to cut out before the termination.

I dont get why windows does this, a kill -9 on unix system is final, there is no boggle....

Actually its not infected.
Preventing processes/services from loading in normal didnt work.
Rolling back worked sometimes, but usually doesnt.
Safemode always works....

The OS -> Windows XP Pro provided by to me by MSDNAA.

If you want to check out the drivers yourself
The model is 9450-G6U

It came stock with windows xp home, but the trialware ****ed me off and the installation was funky since it didnt let me onto my own network.
I repartitioned the drive, to prep it for a multiboot with debian, but i cant get xp to terminate properly, and I wont activate windows before that.

First time - Full Automated Download+Install = Interrupt

Second time - Segragated Automated Download+Install = Interrupt

Third Time = Manual Install of all drivers = Interrupt
It started interrupting after installation of the sonix integrated camera

Fourth Time = Manual Segregated install of all drivers = Interrupt.
It started interrupting after the installation of the AMTEL device.

In the IBM documentation, the AMTEL device is described as an EPPROM that is written with system states, issues, and security.
Uninstalling the drivers doesnt work either...

There seems to be somesort of interrupt that stops the system after the hd has locked. I am unable to move the mouse, and the system becomes complete frozen and just hangs there and doesnt shut down.....
