I have the trial version of fraps on my computer, now I have a registered version of it. But when I try to open the registered version nothing happens, I have heard that it is because it can tell if you had a trial previously on your system.

To fix it I need a registry cleaner, can anyone suggest a good one to get rid of any evidence of the trial version of fraps?

I doubt most cleaners would find those, they're usually hidden and named unconventionally...extremely annoying too.

I've seen a program (not used, just saw somewhere on the net) that monitors the registry, so perhaps if you use something like that, then re-install the trial, you can see what / where it adds keys? I need to try that when I get home...:)

ccleaner is good but I also use regcleaner by jouni vuorio, it allows you to manually remove enteries for installed programs and also items from the uninstall menu.
