ss overclockable

oops keyboard messed up.

I figure that quad cores are less overclockable because they have 4 points of failure instead of 2. All it takes is 1 core to not like the overclock and make the system unstable. So for high super pi scores, probably the x6800 would be better right?

Well,

I'm not really sure if that's even a big issue or not actually. I haven't came across anything like that.

I don't think anyone has had only one of their core's OC well and the other one not, since I'm pretty sure they're identical.

So I'm going to go with no.

As far as which one would OC higher, I'm not sure.

hmm wonder if it is even worth me upgrading to conroe, i have the money and want to, but hmm... I know i wont be able to hit as high on super pi with it,, but who cares about a benchmark.... I wont be able to tell a difference in games from a 400mhz difference or so. But in the distant distant future it would be good with quad core, but by the time it is utilized,, this quad core will be an old pos lol. But i do do graphics rendering sometimes,, and it would probably help
