Ram?

I recently bought 2 x 512 sticks of ram. I already had 2 x 512's in my computer. Well, I installed the news sticks but it only shows that I have 1.5 in my computer...whats going on?

edit here is my motherboard type: A8AE-LE-AmberineM

It does support Dual channel.

Install one stick at a time and see if all of them work.

I tried both, they both work...so what could be wrong?
