Well some good news 
, i ran 3dmark05 again at stock and it scored 6022 and it scored 6296 when overclocked at 540/1160, im happy now, also im only running on 512mb ram cause i had to take my old stuff back so ill be up to a gb again on thursday,

I have got to get me a better CPU, so I can get over 10K at least.
I could just get a Sempron 3300+ (stock 2.0) and see if I can get that to 2.8GHZ. Semprons are very cheap now: AU$71 for the 3300+

Well AMDSCOrPiO those score's are looking alot better As soon as i get my new ram i'll do some tweaking and see how close i can get to you,The highest i've gotten so far with my 6800GS is 5752 but that's on my old sempron setup with crappy 512mb pc-2700

With a AMD64 @1.8ghz, 1gb ram, x1800gto I scored ~7200 in 3dmark05.
Then with the AMD64 @2.35ghz I scored ~8000.
Then with AMD64 @ 2.6ghz and the x1800gto @ 730mhz gpu/mem I got ~10,200.
So I guess it depends on the system but my 3dmark05 score went up ~800 points with a 550mhz overclock.
