laptop problem

my laptop is not working its showing big blue screen and restart again.
in blue screen message is showing

set up did not find hard disk drives installed in in your computer

in one months ago same problem came but its become good .but few days its not working.

i try to installed a windows but harddrive is not detecting.
please help me

Sounds like your HD failed, go into the bios and see if its recognized there.

however, i am going to add a bit more info. check to see if the hard disk is picked up in the bios. If it isnt, i would suggest pulling it out of the laptop and checking if everything is connected alright then replacing the disk. If it still doesnt pick it up, check if you can hear the hard disk actually spinning up or giving any signs of life at all. If not, your disk is dead.

If you're worried about some data (read porno) that youve lost on your disk and the only problem is that it's not spinning up, you can actually purchase a disk of the same MODEL and replace the circuit board on the back. Of course, if your disk is damaged internally, youre screwed and have to send it out for data recovery(read $$$$).

but i can't think its harddrive failed.becuase earlier came this message and after several time times i restart the computer,after that its work.now problem is its not working. i went to BIOS its detecting (showing) hard disk please help me b'cos my project is there.

if u think harddrive failed how can i get my documents.

Pull out the disk, get a 2.5 to 3.5 hard disk converter. Slap the lappy drive into a desktop, copy and paste.
