Yo guys, I was thinking of buying some LCD monitors for two of my computers at home, and I am not too sure about the stats on the monitor. So I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
I was thinking of buying a monitor that is decent for gaming and is sharp enough to show small details.
I was wondering what these following terms me for a monitor: Contrast Ratio (i.e. 800:1, 1000:1, etc.), Display Type (i.e. UXGA, WSXGA+, UXGA+, etc.), Pixel Pitch (i.e. 0.225mm, 0.258mm, etc.)
And is it better to buy one with higher refresh rate and higher resolution settings? Cause for one of them I need to set the display to low settings like 800x600 or 1024x800 for my youngest brother is blind in one eye and has trouble seeing from far away, so would a higher resolution abled monitor be better or a lower resolution one be better? Thx.
