I just got this computer and wanted a fresh install so i zero filled the Seagtate Barracuda 120 gig hard drive to clean install Xp Home .
My boot priority is Sony DVD Rw with Xp CD in but im getting
NTLDR is missing .Before i research has any1 seen this and have a fix

maybe that CD is not bootable or maybe your CD-ROM doesn't read CD-RW's.

if you are getting NTLDR is missing error then your system is not checking/booting from the cdrom first. You system is seeing a partition on the hard drive, but no boot files.

Try a different bootable cd if you have one, or double check your bios setting to make sure the computer is checking the cdrom first. check cable connections, jumper settings. Try a second cable, cdrom, boot disk if necessry.
