USB Mic is producing noises, Something is wrong with my computer!!!! HELPPP

hey, can anyone help me out with my mic? i use the samson c01u usb and everytime i record in adobe audition 1.5 i get this loud visible noise. before i didnt have this problem but up until yesterday it happened. oh yeah, i tried using this mic on my sister's labtop and the noise wasnt there but when i tried recording with it using my pc, the noise came up again. so i think somethings up with my comp but the prob is i dunno what is up.

Uncheck the "Microphone Boost" in Advanced Audio Settings.

^ i dont think usb mics have microphone boost options cuz i find mine.

haha I thought this post looked familiar. I read it over at recording.org. If you could post some screen shots of the software that came with your mic (config screens) that would help.
