Scanner problems >.<

My scanner is not cooperating with me.
I installed the scanner, then when I tried to import an image into Photoshop 7.0, it complains that the scanner is not connected. Then it says:
"Could not open the TWAIN source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory found in the Windows directory."
What could fix this problem? I'll provide any other install info and such if it can fix the problem. Thank you.

what type of scanner do u have, cause i had the kinda the same problem, but i need to know that first

I am running WinXP and using a Mustek 1200 UB (NOT Plus) scanner.
