Vid Card brand names

Hello again. I am picking up this system on Friday:

Intel core duo 6400 $383
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 $299

Seagate barracuda 320gig 16mb cache 7200rpm $160

and I need a little advice on the Vid Card if you don't mind. I have the choice on MSI, Leadtek, Foxconn, Albatron, PNY, XFX, Sapphire, Asus, and Gigabyte. Of course eVga but thats a bit out of my price range. I am able to spend up to $450 NZ Dollars and am a bit stuck on brand names. I can get an XFX card for about 380 or MSI for 430 etc. What brand out of those mentioned would be the best maybe a list of top 4?

Gigabyte and XFX are good brand names, get the XFX. What card is it?

Think I need anything special to cool it down? I hear a lot of reviews about it running super hot. Last thing I want to do is build this thing then fry it up...

well.. you can buy one of those gpu cooler thingys their only like $20

But in the end its not nessessary, all gpus get extremly hot. Especially the newer ones. The manufacturer wouldnt sell millions of copies of the same gpu if they new that they would all overheat.
