OCing gpu

I have been attempting to OC my GPU using Ntune. I am able to set the core bus and memory bus, run through 3dmark06 no problem and everything seems fine. Then when I restart they are set back to stock. Am I doing something wrong or where is the problem? Should I be using a different program? Rig is in my sig if that helps. Thanks in advance

Well is there an option to "set preferences at startup"or something like that?

Also are you watching the temperature of the gpu when it is running 3dmark? Are you also scanning for artifacting?
