Need Input on Mobo

Alrite i guess im going to take the plunge and go C2D. This is a really really super tight budget i know the C2D E6300 is $180 i need a mobo now can someone find me the cheapest mobo and a decent quality. I dont need any oc features or anything just need a basic C2D mobo. Thanks alot.

Eh bad decision there budy on not wanting to OC a C2D. Can you afford this? its pretty cheap and will OC like MAD!! Plus its got some pretty steezy features.

Like i said bad choice not OC'ing a C2D. Huge increase in benchmarks while OC'd.

EDIT: If you cant afford that and are 100% sure you dont want to OC much. Then this is a solid board with slight OC. After the Mail-In its a steal

I have about $800 dollars but i need as much money as i can to go towards the car im building. So i pretty much wanna spend the least i can. I forget what speed my ram is how can i check?

Also i wanted to ask will i see an increase in Fps with the C2D E6300 and this board over my Pentium D? I hope i see a big increase cause i can play Rainbow Six Vegas alrite on my system now but i was hoping if i step up to C2D i will see a increase.

i strongly urge you to stay away form ECS they are nothing but crap even though i am currently using their motherboards. great choice on choosing the e6300. i just got mines the day before yesterday and its friggin awesome.

Ya im using a ecs board right now it does the job. Is the board i referred to decent i hear biostar is alrite, but is there any downsides to using a micro atx?
