I have $57 to spend on a PCI Express x16 video card. I don't know much about video cards Basicly, I know how to install them, and nothing else. My PC is used for a little gaming (BF1942/ GTA:VC/ and other cheap FPSes) but mainly watching DVDs, listening to music, and the internet. The PC is a 3.33ghz celeron d with 1gb of RAM (2x512). For my purposes, what do you guys think I should buy? Im only asking because I really don't know. I don't know any of the brands, or what specific things to look for. Any help is greatly appreciated.

57 Dollars wont get you to far. Find all the junk and rubish you have in your bhouse and sell it on ebay im sure you will be able to get 40 dollars from something in your house. Or just go and wash people cars for 5 Dollars. LOL.

When you do get that 100 Dollars try this card.

Thanks

I probably will just wait till I get $100 then and buy all my other stuff with my current $57. what I really need to do is get a job, but I'm working on that. Either way, will that card you suggested work with this motherboad, a Celeron D, and a 600W PSU? Thanks again.

Don't get 1600pro, because you can get 7600GS which is much better than X1600pro and it is cheaper

And you can get BFG 7600GT for $78.99 after rebate !!!

Edit: these benchmarks prove that 7600GS is much better than X1600pro

7600GS is even better than X1650pro and X1600xt

Yes both the X1600 pro and 7600GS work with that motherboard.
Yes i agree the 7600GS is better and so is the GT obviously i only posted the x1600 because the 7600GS page wudnt work for some reason.

Thanks
