Internet stops after 5 minutes

MY internet craps out after 5 minutes of turning on my pc. I have tried everything. It is a wiereless internet card. Is it my fire wall? anti vurus? i have Etrust. PLEASE help i have tried everything!!! I WILL TRY ANYTHING! after it craps out for those 5 minutes, everything works online BUT surfing the internet (i have firefox)

If it is possible to connect your computer directly to the router or modem via cable try that and see if the issue persists.

it works when i do that, but im WAY to far to do it.
