Nvidia 8800 v ATI R600

Anyone have any idea wether the R600 will be better than the 8800, Or any technical specs on it.

most likely seeing as it's about a month or so off release. generally the later released product is more powerful. manufacturers of just about anything have to pretty sure of this otherwise they can't sell their new product.

I think the R600 might be better. 64 real pipelines.

but we'll just have to let the benchmarks tell us, once R600 is actually out.
