I am thinking about getting that liquid cooling for my third build in my sig. I just need to know if socket 940 is am2?

Also if theres a leak sometime will that mess up the computer?

Oh and is it just a cpu liquid cooler? I want fans and a gpu liquid cooler.

Yes, socket 940 is AM2, and theres also another socket 940 that are server processors. They have the same number of pins but both have their pins located in different places.

I don't think you need that water cooling for the graphic card. A Zalman VF900 would do just fine. And from what I hear, it's almost if not, dead silent.
