depends on the connectors i suppose.
but i would suggest buying a pc audio system you can definitely find on in that price range that whoops @$$.

Yeah, you definitely could make it work but I don't think it's worth it. Just get a pair of logitechs or altec lansings. Monster makes nice things but I don't know about their speaker department. You'd be better off just getting a set of PC speakers for that amount of money.

If you got that you wouldnt need to mod it. You could buy the Creative Decoder DDTS-100 and connect the speakers to your PS2, pc and any other media things you have at the same time. Can have up to 8 things but that will cost you another $120 so depends on if u wanna spend that much.

Yeah, You could probably get a higher watt set of logitechs. Monster is more known for making guitar cables and things of that nature, They're probably no name speakers and components.

65 watts rms. That's really not going to throw out any punch at all. That's about the kind of power you find in wal-mart pc speakers.

ya you could get close to z5500 for that price. And the rms wattage aint worth sh** for a 5.1.
