how much do you want to spend?
that mobo will work well for a core 2 duo, e6300 being cheapest(but still awesome), e6600 being the most expensive (that's actually worth what it costs 300.00+)
 
Hmm, I wan't really looking to spend anymore then $300..

Would it still be possible to get a good processor that can run most games under $300?

If not I may reconsider..
