Ok, so basically I'm a first time builder. I looked into all those pre-built websites and found them to be too much money. So I came up with the idea to build my own dream machine(Or well as close as I can o one). Here are some specs followed by some noobie questions.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 Conroe 2.93GHz or
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Kentsfield 2.66GHz

Mobo: eVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR

Video Cards: eVGA GeForce 8800 GTX x2 (SLi)

RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2

HDD1: Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD 74GB 10,000 RPM

HDD2: Seagate 160gig 7200RPM

PSU: Undecided

DVD drive: Samsung DVD Drive

PC Case: CoolerMaster Stacker 830

Sound: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum

That's basically the computer, Now for my questions. I need a PSU but don't know which to purchase. So I thought maybe someone could lead me to a good one. Aswell as, what cables would I need to buy, and do the graphics card come with the SLi connector. Thank's in advance.

That psu got plenty of bad reviews on newegg, about the power cutting out. Might be user error, IDK.

I know that my evga 8800gtx came with an sli bridge.
Hmm maybe but ThermalTake is a respectable brand i would trust it.

The sli bridge WILL come with your MOBO if it is supported, as the length of it will depend on the distance between the SLI slots.

I suggest you get this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817812002

Good brand, good wattage, good specs, SLI compatible, the whole shebang.

I realize it is a tad pricy, but if you are spending as much as you are on a computer, don't skimp on the one part that has the potential to turn your computer into an expensive toaster.
